The Metrodora Model

Through its state-of-the-art clinic, biobank, and patient engagement tools, Metrodora is fundamentally changing the biological understanding of diseases and accelerating the development of cures. We partner with researchers around the world to advance diagnostics, therapeutics, and treatments for common, but poorly understood neuroimmune conditions. Our greatest collaboration is with the leading experts on these conditions—patients.

The Clinic Collaboration

Our research and medical teams work side-by-side to rapidly advance scientific discovery and implement findings in clinical care. Our ability to collaborate quickly means more innovation and better interventions for every patient.

The MetX Study

We are building the largest dataset on complex chronic conditions. From wearable device information to medical records to biological markers, the MetX Study puts patients at the heart of the mission. They do, after all, know their bodies best, and we intend to empower them with ways to uncover answers to their own illnesses. Together, we believe we can improve lives.

  • The MetX Study is an all-encompassing data collection effort to better understand complex chronic conditions. You choose what you share and how you participate and can opt-out any time. Participation can include partaking in relevant sub-studies, like the MELO Study on ME/CFS and Long-COVID, sharing health information from your wearable devices, and providing access to medical records. Our researchers use this information to better understand these conditions.

  • Metrodora Connect makes sharing information to the MetX Study easy and offers patients tools to manage their condition along the way. It is a digital platform through the MyDataHelps App that can help you keep track of your medical records from across healthcare systems and sync your wearable device data to track trends and generate custom reports. You can also find out about and sign up for the latest clinical trials and research studies directly in the app.

  • The Metrodora Biorepository is where biological samples are securely stored. These may include blood, saliva, and other specimens for use in the lab as part of research efforts.

  • You can also support the MetX Study and help accelerate scientific discovery by making a donation to the Metrodora Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research organization. Rapidly advancing research and expanding options for patients with complex chronic conditions takes a team. We appreciate your commitment to our work!

Join the Metrodora Movement, today.

Many of the tools and treatments our patients need have yet to be developed. A critical component to Metrodora’s model is fostering innovative partnerships with leaders in biotech, biopharma, and academia to drive those discoveries. Together with our partners, we are leveraging advances in science and technology to develop next-generation diagnostics and therapeutics.
