The Metrodora Genetics Team uses cutting-edge Whole Genome Sequencing to provide the first-ever actionable report specific to chronic conditions aiding in diagnosis and informing treatment personalized to the patient.

How It Works

  • If you are an established patient at Metrodora or current patient of Dr. Atwal’s, contact your provider to order Whole Genome Sequencing. For other patients, click the button below to complete the intake form and establish care at Metrodora.

  • Once you complete and sign the Whole Genome Sequencing Consent Form, a painless cheek swab can be collected on-site or via an at-home kit and mailed back to us.

  • Once your payment is processed and your sample is received, testing will begin.

  • Sequencing the entire genome takes time, so results are available in about 12 weeks.

  • Once your results are back, you’ll be scheduled with our geneticist to discuss your results. Results are also posted on the patient portal and available to download for easy access.
